PhysiotherapyPhysiotherapy covers any injury or pain in the body, involving muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, bones and nerves. No matter whether it started from a sports injury, lifting at work or you woke up with neck or back pain, physiotherapy can more often than not help. If you get pain in your knee playing football for England or have a sore neck sitting at work, physiotherapy can help.Every patient will get a full assessment at the initial session, in which we discuss your problem and take a detailed history followed by a thorough examination. This session lasts 30 minutes and by the end we will give you a full explanation of your diagnosis and discuss the best treatment. Treatment will be tailored to your individual needs, to get you doing what you want to, pain-free. If further treatment sessions are needed, all 30 minutes, this will usually incoporate hands-on treatment, and work alongside an exercise programme for you, to aid a quick recovery. If we feel that your problem needs further assessment from another medical professional, for example a Surgeon or Podiatrist, then we will discuss that with you and can advise you on the best route. Read on to see the methods we use to help our patients conditions.
